Andy Iriarte — 4 Star Staff

Andy Iriarte is a tennis professional with experience at all levels of the game. As a junior, he traveled the world competing on the ITF circuit. He was the #1 ranked player in the Mid-Atlantic for the boys 14’s, 16’s, and 18’s in singles. On the National level, he reached #8 in singles and #4 in doubles for the 18 and under group. One of the more prestigious tournaments Andy competed in was the US Open Juniors. Andy continued to excel during his college career at North Carolina State University, where he received a BS in Sports Management. Andy played the top 3 singles positions for NC State. In his last two years, he was also a team captain and reached the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament on his last year. After graduation, Andy continued to travel and compete for 1 1/2 years on the Professional Circuit.

Since 2002 Andy has been teaching and coaching the 4 Star Tennis Academy and now at the new location Bullis Prep School. He coaches the Super-National Junior Players and the Young Tournament Players (YTP) groups. In addition to working on stroke production, strategy and physical Andy focuses on mental toughness as well.
