Khamp Bounkong – Director of Business Development

Khamp is a graduate of West Virginia University, where he received his B.S. in Sports Medicine. He was two-time Academic All-American at WVU. Khamp has over 24 years of tennis experience. Khamp came to 4 Star Tennis Academy in 1993 and is now the Director of Marketing & Business Development for 4 Star. Khamp has coached numerous Nationally and Sectionally ranked juniors who have gone on to play college tennis. Khamp is a member of both the USPTA and USPTR, he has passed the USTA Sports Science Competency Tests 1 and 2. He served as a member of the USTA/MATA Executive Committee. He was founder and Co-Chairmen of USTA/MATA Junior Team Tennis. He was Co-Chairman of the Play Tennis America program and was one of the coaches for the USTA Player Development Program in 1992-93. Khamp is a member of Dunlop Advisory Staff & K-Swiss National Team. He was also a producer/director of a tennis series called “The Tennis Show” that aired on Channel 10.

Khamp formed his own Sports Agency in 2009 called KB Sports Management, he represent players on the ATP, WTA, PGA as well as Nationwide tour. He also work as a consultant for various tennis & golf industries, please check out KB Sports web site www.KBSportsMgmt.com for more information.

Khamp’s philosophy on tennis is: “Take full advantage of your opportunity that you have, don’t wait for your opportunity you have to created. To be a better player, you need to have goals. Each time you step onto the court, you got to have a goal in mine. Don’t ever lose sight of your goals, always have a plan. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. You need a road map to success, if you don’t have one, I have one for you”.
