Jim Shepard – Instructor

Following a successful career as a junior tennis player. Jim represented Towson Sate University at the collegiate level, where he was a 3 time East Coast Conference singles champion, and a 3 time East Coast Conference doubles champion. Later he became head coach of the Towson State women’s tennis team.

In 1990 Jim came to 4 Star Tennis Academy where he has coached players who have won local, regional, state, national and international junior events as well as players competing on the ATP tour.

Currently Jim is Director of Tennis at the prestigious Edgemoor tennis club during the spring and summer and at 4 Star Tennis Academy during the winter months.

Jim is a USPTA certified tennis professional and a graduate of the USTA High Performance Coaching program.
