Young Players Group

Age Group: 7-10 years old

The Young Players Group cultivates the 4 Star Tennis Academy teaching culture and learning environment for the academy’s youngest junior tennis players. The 4 Star staff seeks out these children who display the physical, cognitive, and natural talents necessary to prosper on the tennis court, and further in the academy’s programs.

Once selected these children are expected to participate in at least two training sessions per week, and maintain consistent growth within the group. On-court training development involves thorough technical foundation for each tennis stroke and explanations and logic (communicated and demonstrated for the cognition of 7-10 year old children) about the basic strategies and rules of this sport. It is the program’s goal to instill a work ethic and discipline to be successful on and off the court; to provide the framework to succeed throughout the succession of training programs (i.e., next progression into the Young Tournament Players Group) in the 4 Star Tennis Academy; and to foster an ongoing passion and curiosity for the game of tennis.
